Jill + Brian = Married! SNEAK PEAK

Congratulations, Jill & Brian!!!  I am so happy and excited for your expanding family.  So fun.  I was so excited to get to photograph your beautiful wedding photos at the Fern of Westfield!  You two are amazing and so much fun.  Can you not tell from Jill's shoes!?!?  I loved them and thought they were perfect.  I love that Jill and Brian have super huge hearts with lots of love for all of those around them.  I could not be happier for them.  Here is just a sneak peak to a few photos from their gorgeous wedding.  Lots more coming later!  :)

Dean & My 6th Wedding Anniversary!

As Dean and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this month, I had to take a second to reflect and acknowledge how thankful for my loving husband, Dean, and that I appreciate all he does for our family and me.  I am so happy to have found him and thank my lucky stars for his amazing soul. 

As a wedding photographer, I always enjoy seeing those same sentiments and feelings in the couples around me.  I love to see other couples starting their lives together and love for each other growing.  I enjoy seeing the happiness and relationships between my brides and grooms.  It is an amazing job and I am so thankful that people allow me to be a part of those special moments in their lives!!

As a happily married woman, I do have to say, though, that I really can't believe it has already been six years since our wedding day.  The time has gone by so fast and especially the last two years with our little munchkins around. Owen turned two-years-old in March and Gracie will be one-year-old this July.  We enjoy them so much and love watching them grow.  We have done so much and grown as individuals and as a couple over these last few years.  I am so happy to have found you, Dean, and enjoy all our time together.  Owen, Gracie & I love you so much.  Thank you for being such an amazing husband and friend to me, father to Owen and Gracie and great person to all of those around you.  We love you and look forward to so many more years to come.

We love and are so thankful for our families!  We have such great examples of love from our parents and grandparents.

We Do Lunch: May @ Hoaglin To Go Cafe & Marketplace!

The We Do! Professional Centre where my office is located tries to have a monthly get together for lunches and invite other vendors and friends to come.  Yesterday we had the May We Do! Luncheon downtown at Hoaglin To Go Cafe & Marketplace.  It was a lot of fun!!  I always love to see my wedding and event vendor friends and getting to catch up, especially when it involves a yummy lunch (and some spectacular crowd-pleasing brownies).  I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people.  Thanks to everyone that was able to come out!  I can't wait til the next luncheon.

Zack & Shauna!

Zack recently graduated with his Masters in Architecture from Ball State, so we recently took some pictures to honor his accomplishments.  But we also took more pictures of Zack with his girlfriend, Shauna, as a couple, having fun and enjoying the evening while we walked the Indianapolis Canal downtown.

I have known Zack's parents, Bill and Marsha, all my life and even remember them watching my sisters and I when we were little.  So I was really excited when they contacted me to take Zack's pictures.  I have seen Zack grow up and it is great to now see Zack with so many accomplishments and happiness coming his way.  He jokingly says that he was just excited to have more photos and representation on his parents' wall at home to go with some of his brother and sister's pictures.  I think Shauna brought out a super fun side to Zack's personality, so it was nice to see him having fun and joking around with Shauna.  Congratulations, Zack, on your graduation.  We can't wait to see all you accomplish and all that lays ahead of you in the future.  Below are a few of my favorites from our shoot . . .
