Amanda & Eric's Wedding Day!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Riesenmey! I am so excited for Amanda & Eric, because they are such an adorable and awesome couple. It was an honor to photograph their engagement pictures last fall and an even bigger honor to photograph their beautiful big day. Dianne, Melissa & all the Valle Vista did such a great job. McNamara's Floral was gorgeous and I loved the floral along the aisle for the ceremony. Jeremy with DJ's Direct did awesome, as usual, and everyone had a blast. I am so glad they got to relax, get sun-burned and enjoy their honeymoon at Antigua Beach. So fun!

Below are a few of my favorite photos from the day . . .

Amanda and Eric met in Evansville where they worked across the mall from each other.  After awhile he got the courage to ask Amanda out on a date and she said yes.  Amanda finally realized Eric was the one when he cooked an amazing dinner for her and then shared his cooking secrets on how to make his yummy barbecue chicken pasta.  When it came time to propose, Eric actually purchased a Jet Ski just for the proposal.  After about an hour of fixing the jet ski, because it didn't start when they got it on the lake, they finally got on the water.  After awhile, they headed to a cove to take a break and Eric surprised Amanda by pulling the ring out of his pocket and then celebrating by popping the cork on the champagne.  That night they headed to a romantic dinner at St. Elmo's Restaurant and then soon after started planning their big day.  They choose Valle Vista Golf Course because of Eric's love of Golf and because they made everything so easy and had such great recommendations.  Amanda's favorite part of the planning was shopping for the dress and getting to try them all on to finally find the right one.  Their favorite part of the wedding day was seeing the horse and carriage for the first time and coming off the carriage to walk down the aisle to see each other for the first time.  Their favorite part of being newlyweds is finally being able to relax since they have more time after the wedding planning is over and can focus on being a couple.  They both love to watch movies and cuddle, and plan to spend the rest of their lives being able to see each other every morning and doing all the things they love together. 
I love this one as they just started dancing . . .
