I know they will have such a great life together.

Mo
and Dave always joke that you really can find the love of your life at a
bar!! They are both CPAs and met through
mutual friends at the Vogue Bar in Broadripple at a Hairbangers Ball
Concert. Dave and Mo have never been able to pin point the
exact moment they realized they had found "the one," but she knew
that they were going together forever when they had only been together a year
when Mo was diagnosed with breast cancer and got sick. Mo was really upset and didn't
know what was going to happen and she turned to Dave. He told her that they were going to get
through all of it because they still had too much to accomplish together, too
many things that still needed to be done, and too many people that still needed
their help.
When it
came to the proposal, Mo had been bothering Dave about getting married for a
couple of months and they had made plans to take a vacation to Hilton Head
Island. Maureen is a morning person, so she had the first driving shift. After driving for 8 hours and burning the
battery on her phone, she began the search for an outlet in Dave's car to plug
the phone into and opened the glove compartment.... And there was a ring box!
Dave shouted! Maureen shouted! For the entire trip they would joke about when
he was going to propose... On the second to last night Mo told him she was going
to take a walk on the beach at sunset, and was forcing him to come with along
... He told Mo to put her shoes on, and when Mo turned around to head out of
the condo to go to the beach, Dave was on one knee... She was so happy and didn't
look at the ring for a couple of hours.
She was crying because she was so happy and excited!
When it came to planning their wedding, they
knew that they wanted a traditional Catholic mass, and Saints Peter and Paul
Cathedral is beautiful and the perfect spot in Indianapolis for the wedding. To
follow a perfect ceremony, they found the Hilbert Circle Theatre. It was
everything they wanted...very sophisticated, pretty, but not stuffy! They fell
in love with the theatre the second they saw it. Their favorite part of the planning
was trying to find the right caterer of the wedding food, because they had a
blast trying new foods. Their favorite
part of the wedding day was actually getting married. They loved every moment of the ceremony. Mo loved walking down the aisle with her dad,
saying their vows and then walking back down the aisle with Dave! It was a magical day and their wedding and
reception was even more beautiful than they could have ever imagined! For them being newlyweds, they didn't think
that it would feel different after they got married, but it does. Every day
they feel closer and more in love with each other. Mo knows with every piece of
her that they are true partners and will make it through anything that comes
their way, just as they have in the past!
