Jessica + Kaveh = Married!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Faghihi! I couldn't be happier for you two and I was so honored to be a part of your celebration.  We all loved watching you two get married and enjoy your beautiful wedding.  I loved all of their gorgeous picture locations and green accents (Jessica's favorite color!!).  It couldn't have been a more gorgeous wedding.  I knew from our first meeting and then our engagement pictures where I got to know you two more (I especially loved chatting over a glass of wine!!), that your wedding was going to be amazing.  And I couldn't have been more right.    You two are amazing and we all wish you all the best in married life.  We also know you are having SO much fun on your trip to the Maldives Islands (and also the time in Dubai!).  I can't wait to hear how the trip went when you get back.  What an amazing wedding and also celebrating in style with your once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon trip. I have always loved the beautiful Second Presbyterian Church for a wedding ceremony and I know every time I drive by, that I will think of you two.  The Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion was gorgeous and I especially loved your gorgeous wedding cake.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from the wedding day and a little more about their love story . . .

Jessica and Kaveh actually met online through Match.com.  They both had just about given up on the whole online dating thing because they had been out on a few strange dates.  Luckily, they both pretty much said, OK one more and were so lucky to have found each other.

When it came to knowing they had found "the one" they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with, Jessica doesn't think there was one diffinitive moment.  However, she does remember a friend asking her how things were going with Kaveh and Jessica told her that she was in love with him.  Jessica thinks she was surprised to hear herself say it as much as she was!

Regarding some of their favorite "date nights", they love to try new foods.  So on really special date nights, they like to go out of town to a restaurant they haven't been to and do a tasting menu.  On regular date nights, they enjoy going out for dinner and sharing a bottle of wine while watching a movie at the Keystone Arts Theater.  One of Jessica and Kaveh's favorite restaurants is Eddie Merlot's. Kaveh likes fish and Jessica likes steak.  Their new favorite appetizer is the Kobe Beef that they get to cook at the table on a hot river rock.  Jessica said, "It's delicious! And of course, we always like to share a bottle of wine!"

When it came to their proposal, Jessica knew the proposal was coming, so Kaveh was having a hard time figuring out a way to surprise her.  Jessica was still in school and one Thursday evening she was sitting at Kaveh's desk in his office doing homework in her pajamas.  He came in and got down on his knee. Jessica definitely was surprised and her first question was, "is this for real?" Kaveh's hands were shaking and asked Jessica to marry him. Of course, she instantly said yes!

Shortly after the proposal, they started planning their wedding.  They live in Fishers, but originally Jessica was from Muncie and Kaveh was from West Lafayette, it just made sense to have the wedding in Indianapolis since it's a half way point for both sides of their families.  Kaveh suggested the Ritz Charles for their reception and Jessica immediately fell in love with the outdoor garden pavilion when she saw it.  Jessica has really loved being able to plan their wedding and loves looking through Pinterest and seeing all the great ideas out there! She loves weddings and loves planning and organizing things, so the entire process has been fun for her!!

Jessica was most looking forward and excited for the church doors to open and for her eyes to meet Kaveh's and to exchange their vows in front of all their family and friends.  It's was such a special day!!  Of course, they were both looking forward to the party afterwards too!!  And what a party it was.  It was such a beautiful day and an amazing ceremony and reception.  Thank you, Jessica and Kaveh, and congratulations!!
