Jen + Troy = Engaged! | Indianapolis, IN

Jen and Troy, you two are so much fun!  I had a blast taking your engagement photos and loved getting to catch up.  It is always so much fun getting to hang out with you guys and I always have a blast.  I just love you two!!!  I always associate Jen with downtown, so doing her photos anyplace else, would not have been the same!  I loved the downtown architecture with your backdrops for our photos.  It is an absolute honor getting to photograph your engagement photos and wedding day.  You are an amazing couple, Jen and Troy, and I can't wait for your gorgeous and super fun wedding in April!  Here are a few of Jen and Troy's favorites from our photo shoot and a little more about your love story . . .
Jen and Troy met on eHarmony!  Jen and Troy shared, “We emailed back and forth for a while, and then decided to meet.  We went out every weekend the first few months, and the rest is history!”

When it came to knowing and realizing that they had found “the one," Troy said it was on New Year’s Eve 12/31/11.  Jen and Troy were having an in depth discussion about their future, and that is when he realized that he couldn’t picture his future without her.  Troy began to think about asking her to marry him at that point, and he proposed 6 months later.  Jen said that she knew very quickly, about 6 months in, that she wanted to marry Troy.  She shared, “He treated me with such genuine care, and I was blown away everyday with the way he treated me, and how romantic he is.  I have lived every girls’ fairytale for the last 2 years.  He is so dreamy.”  J  I love hearing this!  One of my conversations early on in my relationship with Jen stands out to me, because she shared and gushed about how amazing Troy was to her and the thought that always went into making one another happy.  I see how much they care for one another and how much love they share.  So to see this amazing couple getting married means so much.  I am absolutely thrilled for them.

On their “date nights,” they love to do many different types of activities.  They are always out on the town!  But they also both love a quiet evening-in watching a movie with a fire in the fireplace.  Troy loves James Bond movies, and Jen loves any romantic comedy!
For the wedding proposal, Troy was over the top!  He surprised Jen at work with a Marriott Grand Welcome.  The entire office was in on it and definitely an amazing surprise.  It is even on You Tube!  Please click on the link below to see the proposal.  What fun!!  Great job, Troy!

Shortly after the engagement, they started planning the wedding.  It was all about “location, location, location!”  They are having a downtown wedding, which is so perfect for Jen and Troy.  I associate downtown with them, so I love that they are downtown Indy for their big day.  Roberts Park United Methodist Church for the ceremony, and then the Reception will be at the Indianapolis Marriott.  Because Jen works at the Marriott, it made her choice very easy and everyone at the Marriott has taken such great care of them.  They said, “It has been a wonderful experience so far!”  One of their favorite parts of the wedding planning has been working with some of their favorite vendors.  All of their vendor friends have helped make so many wonderful memories.  They have also loved getting response cards back in the mail and it has made it exciting to the mail every day.
What is this amazing couple looking forward to most on the wedding day?  For Troy, is super excited to getting to see Jen for the first time.  For Jen, she “absolutely can’t wait to marry this man and become Mrs. Troy Barenie.”
 What a gorgeous ring!!!
