Kooking with Kristin: Crockpot Chicken!

There are some days, that we are just running around too much to make a meal. Rather than eating out, we opt for easy Crockpot meals!  It is always nice to put a few items in the Crockpot and come home to dinner being ready!  Here we did a relatively healthy chicken dinner in the Crockpot.  

Crockpot Chicken

  • Chicken broth. (Use water if don't have and just add more spices in the pot)
  • Celery - cut into pieces
  • Carrots - cut into pieces
  • Whole chicken (there is a bag of organs we removed from our store-bought chicken)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Put everything in the Crockpot, set on low and cook for 8-9 hours.
