Stacey + Tatchi = Married! | Fishers, IN

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Anouan!!!  Thank you so much, Stacey & Tatchi, for allowing me to be a part of your amazing wedding weekend!  I couldn't be happier for you two and I am extremely honored to be a part of your wedding day photography!  Your gorgeous wedding was a blast!!!  I knew from our first talks, emails, meeting together, our preparation meeting that your wedding would be amazing . . . full of so much love, lots of details and fun . . . and you definitely didn't let me down!!  It was a spectacular day and I couldn't be more happy for you and your amazing families.  I feel honored that I was able to capture your love story!  The rain held off, so we were able to capture so many fabulous outdoor photos at the Church, Reception and Downtown Circle.  The reception was a blast and you two have super fun friends and family!!  I loved the happiness you two find in each other and DK.  I loved seeing everything come together.  With Tatchi originally being from West Africa, there were so many traditions I learned and captured with the African Traditions on Sunday as well!  Thank you for the hospitality from you, your family and friends to your home on Sunday!  What a special treat to be a part of the celebrations and traditions!  What a wonderful weekend full of so much love and traditions!  All of us around you are all so happy for you and know that you will enjoy married life!!  Have so much fun and enjoy!!

There so many great photos from their beautiful wedding, but below are a few my favorites from Stacey and Tatchi's wedding and a little bit about their love story . . .
Stacey and Tatchi met at work, as Tatchi was in finance and Stacey was a paralegal.  They started to become really good friends when a group of them would have lunch together.  Tatchi was awfully persistent and eventually got Stacey to come over for dinner and he made her grilled chicken at Stacey’s request.  Very sweet.
When it came to realizing they had found "the one,” Stacey shared, “I would say that something from the beginning told me that he was going to be the one.  We had so much in common right from the beginning and both of us really enjoyed spending time together.  I think for Tatchi it was when he saw how I was with his son Dk.  He knew if we had a strong bond that he could see a future with me.”
Some of their favorite date nights consist of going to Mama Corollas and sharing a bottle of wine with great Italian cuisine.  They both love that restaurant it brings back many memories as it was the place they had their first date.  Some of their favorite things to do would be vacationing and spending quality time with family and friends.  They love Mama Corolla’s and Bella Vita on the Marina.  Italian, African foods or good burgers.  We try to drink mixed drinks and love our lime-a-rita’s.
Their proposal happened on New Year’s Day as they woke up.  Shortly after they began their wedding planning.  When it came to choosing their wedding locations, Stacey said, “We are both Catholic, so our church that we attend was an easy choice. (Holy Spirit at Geist).  The reception venue at River Glen Golf Course was one that we liked because of the huge deck out back overlooking the golf course and because it was smaller and more intimate.  Tatchi and I both come from large families and really love being close with our loved ones.  So we wanted to squeeze them all in at River Glen.  I think the patio will get lots of use in June after all the dancing.”
I asked their favorite part of the wedding planning and Stacey shared, “Being engaged and learning more about each other through the choices we have the privilege of making during this process.  We had to go through marriage prep class and even though we have been together for over 5 years it was interesting to learn more about each other.  It really confirmed that we were right for one another.”
On the wedding day, “I am looking forward to just officially being Mrs. Anouan and enjoying all the excitement and love pouring on us that day.  Tatchi is probably looking forward to the celebrating.  Lol.”

Dueling bridal parties . . . we got in a brawl on the circle with another bridal party!  :)  What fun!!
