What an incredible turn out Friday, July 26th for We Do! Lunch w/ Wish Upon a Wedding! Ruth's Chris sold out of their 500 lunch bags benefiting Wish Upon a Wedding Indianapolis (WUW). Great to see so many event industry friends show their support for a great cause! My office friends at the We Do! Professional Centre try to get together monthly for a professional colleagues lunch and we were all thrilled that this month's lunch was in conjunction with Wish Upon a Wedding Indianapolis' fundraising lunch. Thank you to Ruth's Chris for hosting their Kobe Beef Slider Drive-Thru in honor of WUW Indy and for donating $1 from each meal for deserving couples! Ruth's Chris offered a $5 bag lunch with two yummy kobe sliders & more, and a portion will be donated to WUW. Along with the WUW board supplying drinks for purchase to support the cause. According to Monica Richard (Wish Upon a Wedding Indianapolis' President whom also just announced she just joined the national WUW board as Secretary-Congratulations Monica!) announced as of Friday afternoon after the event, "Totals are RISING - with donations that came in Friday and from the donation form on the Ruth's Chris page, it looks like we're well over $800! An AMAZING THANK YOU to everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who drove through today, came out to support the cause, to our board members for making this happen, Party Time Rental - thank you for the tent / tables and chairs you provided and a special thank you to Ruth's Chris Indianapolis North for their generous efforts!"
