Kooking With Kristin: French Toast!


Since as far back as I can remember, I have loved breakfast foods and always have a sweet-tooth!  So I love combining those two and think that is why I have always loved making French Toast!  It is always a yummy treat, especially on these cold mornings!




French Toast!
 Ingredients-to make 3 pieces:
  • (3) Pieces of Bread (use thicker pieces of bread for more gourmet toast)
  • (1) Egg
  • Little Milk
  • Splash of Vanilla Extract - not essential, but one ingredient that adds a little more yummy flavor.  If not have, try little cinnamon/sugar.
  • Powdered Sugar-to top if wanted
Preparation:
  • Turn on the skillet on the stove with PAM or little butter to keep them from sticking
  • Mix the egg, splash of milk and vanilla extract into a bowl
  • Put bread into a bowl, coat both sides and put into the pan
  • Flip when a golden brown
  • Serve warm with syrup
