The Community Health Network hosted The Giving Gig 2014 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Hotel this weekend. It was fabulous in every way and raised money for a fabulous cause. From the gorgeous centerpieces, fun colors, gorgeous ballroom, purple carpet VIP welcome reception photos on the carpet, silent auction, live auction, mingling, program followed by KC and the Sunshine Band rocking the night, this event was a blast for my team and I to photograph!!!

The Giving Gig has grown to be one of Indianapolis’ top fundraising events and it was an honor to be a part of this wonderful sold-out event. It was an evening of generosity and jammin’ as KC and the Sunshine Band spread a little sunshine and the Community Health Network Foundation, their sponsors and guests were able to raise over their goal for the event to help those battling cancer. The funds raised by the 2014 Giving Gig go directly to providing a much needed cancer patient assistance fund to support items such as wigs, prostheses, transportation, food and assistance with chemotherapy medications. The need is great and if you are able to make a donation so they can provide hope for their patients that need additional assistance. Community Health Network Foundation officials also recognized Indiana philanthropist, Yvonne Shaheen, as she received the Jack Heiney Award for Philanthropic Leadership at The Giving Gig for her amazing generosity, leadership and commitment to Community Health Network. From the best in decor, appetizers, dinner, drinks and desserts to a must-see musical masterpiece featuring KC and The Sunshine Band, they were kickin’ cancer’s booty while they were shakin’ theirs.
