Here is a little more about their Love Story:
  • How or where did you two first meet?
Karen and Bryan met at a Procter and Gamble National Sales Meeting in June 2010.

  • When did you two realize you had found "the one?"

Upon being friends for two years, the relationship grew and was unfazed by the coast-to-coast distance.  After a year and over 100,000 miles flown, Karen moved cross-country to seize a great personal and work opportunity in Charlotte, NC.

  • What is one of your favorite "date nights" consist of?
We really enjoy:
·         Exploring a new local restaurant
·         Browsing through a farmers markets
·         Checking out a new craft brewery
·         Traveling around the World
·         Attending Sporting Events—Baseball and Football Games

  • How did the wedding proposal happen?
Bryan wanted Karen to be completely surprised when he proposed! With Bryan and Karen working in the same office, Bryan had to be extra covert when planning.  Bryan knew he wanted to purchase the ring from a family-friend in Maryland; therefore, he had to plan it out carefully for Karen to remain in the dark. The original plan had been cancelled due to snow, yet snow nor sleet could deter him.  During Karen’s next business trip, Bryan “faked” a sickness to secretly travel to Maryland.  After the purchase was made, Bryan made a nervous trip home – feeling like he was transporting the crown jewels!
Upon returning to Charlotte, Bryan set into motion his grand plan to make the proposal as special as possible.  Bryan went to the grocery to store to get all of the ingredients for what would be a very exceptional meal.  On March 15, 2013, Bryan asked Karen for her hand in marriage.  Bryan had created a huge steak dinner and proposed mid-dinner.  Karen was so emotional that Bryan had to ask three times before the big YES.

  • What has been your favorite part of the wedding planning?
After all the planning, we absolutely love receiving back the response cards.

  • What are you looking forward to on the wedding day?
Getting to be surrounded by all of our favorite people in one place!

There so many great photos from their beautiful wedding coming later, but below are a few my favorites from Karen and Bryan's gorgeous wedding for a sneak peek from their wedding . . .

Lots more coming later!  Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.  Love you, guys!  Enjoy your honeymoon and being newlyweds.  XXOO, Kristin
