Laura + Joel = Engaged! | Carmel, IN | Slideshow of Highlights!

Congratulations, Laura and Joel, on your engagement!  I do have to say that I am excited to post their engagement photo shoot slideshow of highlights on the Blog.  They couldn't be any more sweet, and it is an honor to photograph them.  I had so much fun getting to catch up with you and can't wait for their big day!  Could they have any more going on with their adorable newborn, Mason, their move, work, everyday life and upcoming wedding!  What a super fun couple. Love getting to joke and laugh with you guys.  I absolutely can't wait for their October wedding!  Thank you, guys, for allowing me to be a part of your wedding celebration.  It is going to be amazing.  So fun.  Above is the Slideshow of a few of my favorites from their engagement photo shoot.  Below are a few of my favorite photographs and a little more about their Love Story . . .

  • How or where did you two first meet? Last year Joel interviewed/hired me at a toxicology lab.
  • When did you two realize you had found "the one?" -  about 10 minutes after talking with each other on a coffee break at work :)
  • What is one of your favorite "date nights" consist of? We enjoy going out to movies, karaoke, parks, spending time with family, or just staying in and being lazy with a good tv show.  We make a point to sit down to dinner every night together and talk about our days. We enjoy nightlife  and going out, but our newborn keeps us in these days. Some of our best "dates" have been watching football games, while eating wings and drinking beer. Joel and i try so many different restaurants, but the best food is what he cooks at home.
  • How did the wedding proposal happen? Joel took me to dinner at St Elmos steakhouse downtown, and during dessert, he got on one knee and asked me (while he was visibly shaking/sweating). On the car ride to the restaurant, i told him, " you better not be doing anything like proposing to me". Joel never was one to listen to me :)
  • How or why did you choose the wedding locations you did? No reason, just researched some options.
  • What has been your favorite part of the wedding planning process so far? Knowing that no matter what stress there is or what could go wrong (no dates on our invites), all that matters that day is that we start the rest of our lives together.
  • What are you looking forward to on the wedding day? Drinks, cake, and family!
