The Community Health Network hosted The Giving Gig 2015 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Hotel on Valentine's Day. It was fabulous in every way and raised money for a fabulous cause. From the gorgeous centerpieces, romantic colors, gorgeous ballroom, silent auction, live auction, mingling, program followed by the Band Chicago rocking the night, red carpet VIP after-party photos on the carpet, this event was a blast for my team and I to photograph!!!

The Giving Gig has grown to be one of Indianapolis’ top fundraising events and it was an honor to be a part of this wonderful sold-out event. With over 1,000 guests at the event, many brought their Valentine and left a lot of love and support for the Community Heath Network. The evening was emotional with Cancer patients testimony and visits while hostess Nicole Misencik from WTHR 13, Marrialle Sellars of American Idol Season 13 premiered a beautiful song and Melissa Davis of Christy's of Indiana presented this year's live auction also helped move the evening along. Chicago is considered one of the longest running and most successful pop/rock ‘n’ roll groups in history, Chicago is the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine’s list of Top 100 artists of all time, coming in at #13. From the best in decor, appetizers, dinner, drinks and desserts to the full concert by Chicago, they were The band was very nice and generous with their time and amazing talents. They absolutely rocked!! It was an evening of generosity, cocktails, four-course meal and jamming as Chicago rocked the night away and the Community Health Network Foundation, their sponsors and guests were able to raise over $1.1 Million Dollars (well surpassing their $900,000 goal) for to help those battling cancer. Foundation President and CEO, Mrs. Joyce Irwin's announcement of that significant amount with over a million dollars raised was very emotional and heart-felt in her delivery in her knowing how much good could be done with those funds! Proceeds will benefit Community’s cancer patients needing financial support made available through our Oncology Patient Assistance Fund. The funds raised go directly to providing a much needed cancer patient assistance fund to support items such as wigs, prostheses, gas to get to appointments, food and assistance with chemotherapy and cancer fighting medications. I love this place. I had an event here back in May last year and I felt like it was a perfect day for us! The NYC events venue provides you with an event Specialist as part of your package which is extremely helpful. Plus all of us dressed up only added to the entire ambience.
