The Community Health Network hosted The Giving Gig
2016 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Hotel on this
weekend. It was fabulous in every way and raised over $1.4 million for a
fabulous cause. From the gorgeous centerpieces, bold colors, gorgeous
ballroom, silent auction, live auction, mingling, program followed by the Huey
Lewis and the News rocking the night, VIP after-party, this event was a
blast for my team and I to photograph. Thank you for allowing us to be a
part of The Giving Gig 2016 again this year!
The Giving Gig has grown to be one of
Indianapolis’ top fundraising events and it was an honor to be a part of this
wonderful sold-out event. With about 1,082 guests at the event, many
brought their "Power of Love" and support for the Community Heath
Network and rocked to Huey Lewis and the News. The evening was emotional
with Heather’s cancer patient’s testimony, video and remarks while Nicole
Misencik from WTHR 13 hosted, Ted Mau premiered a beautiful song and
Melissa Davis of Christy's of Indiana presented this year's live auction also
helped move the evening along.
Battling cancer takes a
village, and sometimes a band. It also takes the power of love. That’s
why Huey Lewis and The News are
coming to perform at The Giving Gig 2016, Community Health Network Foundation’s
fundraiser to help cancer patients with financial struggles. All proceeds from
this event will benefit our Oncology Patient Assistance Fund that helps cancer
patients overcome financial barriers that limit their access to nutrition,
medication, transportation and basic needs. Money raised at the event will
sustain this financial assistance program, which provides $250 vouchers so that
a patient fighting cancer has a little less to worry about. From the best
in decor, appetizers, dinner, drinks and desserts to the full concert, it was
emotional, but spectacular evening. The band was very nice and generous
with their time and amazing talents. They absolutely rocked!! It
was an evening of generosity, cocktails, four-course meal and jamming as Huey
and the News rocked the night away and the Community Health Network Foundation,
their sponsors and guests were able to raise over $1.4 Million Dollars for
to help those battling cancer. Foundation President and CEO, Mrs. Joyce
Irwin's announcement of that significant amount with over a million
dollars raised was very emotional and heart-felt in her delivery in her knowing
how much good could be done with those funds! Proceeds will benefit
Community’s cancer patients needing financial support made available through
our Oncology Patient Assistance Fund. The funds raised go directly to
providing a much needed cancer patient assistance fund to support items such as
wigs, prostheses, gas to get to appointments, food and assistance with
chemotherapy and cancer fighting medications. The need is great and if you are

What a grand event it was. For my small event I am looking for best Chicago venues within few days. Please help out and give information on best venues where I can plan for a rocking but also a decent event.
