Kooking with Kristin: Fried Chicken!

So we had to splurge and have Deano's fried chicken this week for dinner!  Not healthy, but oh so yummy.


Fried Chicken
 

Ingredients:
  • Chicken breasts
  • 2 Eggs - crack them and whisk in bowl
  • Breading - pour into bowl
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • We served with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn.
Preparation:
  • Pour the oil into frying pan and bring up to hot temperature
  • Pound out the chicken so the chicken breasts are flat.
  • Dip the chicken breasts in egg and then in the breading until they are covered.
  • Then put and cook the chicken in the oil until done.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
As you can see by the potatoes on his face, Owen loved the chicken and mashed potatoes too! (just cell phone pictures for my "Kooking with Kristin" Blog Segments).  What a little stinker . . .
