Lindsay + Ryan = Married!

I loved meeting Lindsay, Ryan and her parents, Pam and Butch from the initial meeting.  They are such great people and welcomed me with open hearts.  I feel like a part of the family-or maybe I just joined on my own!  Hee hee.  They are amazing and surrounded my great family and friends.  Lindsay and Ryan had a remarkable winter wonderland wedding celebration completed by the perfect touch of snow on the ground.  They used the purple, silver and black and white color scheme and decor to decorate their winter wedding perfectly.  Lindsay and Ryan love watching birds, so I love seeing the birds show up in certain places!!  A great personal touch :)  You guys are too cute together!

Below are a few of my pictures from their day and a little about their love story . . . 

Lindsay is one smart cookie!  She has her bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology, her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and is now working on her doctoral degree.  Ryan accepted scholarships from IUPUI and transfered into the IUPUI-Kelley School of Business program and graduated with a bachelors in science. He landed a position as a commercial real estate appraiser trainee at Integra Realty in Indianapolis. 

Ryan and Lindsay first met at a bar...and who says you can't meet your future husband at a bar!  Come to find out Ryan and Lindsay had several mutual friends who all went out for the same Thursday night birthday event at Howl at the Moon piano bar. Ryan found an opportunity to talk with Lindsay when she went up to the bar to get a drink.  Ryan was persistent to buy her a drink, but since she was one of the DD's for the night, ended up buying her a coke! They ended up talking for most of the night with their friends, and met up later that week to watch football and catch a movie.  They have been enjoying each other's company ever since! 

In their free time they both love watching and playing sports. Specifically they are obsessed with the Indianapolis Colts and have been able to attend a few games together! Lindsay and her brother, Justin, began loving the Boston Red Sox since their dad enjoys the Yankees, and Ryan has been able to support the BoSox with me. After falling in love with Ryan, Lindsay became a St. Louis Cardinals fan to support his favorite team. Thank goodness he is NOT a Yankees fan!

Lindsay had been planning a trip for Ryan at St. Louis, MO with tickets to the St. Louis Cardinals game on Ryan's 25th birthday, along with several other activities they wanted to do during the day before the game. We went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens as soon as we entered St. Louis and walked through the Climatron where there were gorgeous exotic plants and beautiful waterfalls. After they stopping to enjoy the view, Ryan bent on one knee and proposed!  Ryan likes to also add that after they became engaged Lindsay stopped photographing the plants and fountains, and only photographed the engagement waterfall and ring! Woops!

Ryan and Lindsay have two dogs - Zoe (a 3 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and Peyton (a 1 year old Black Lab-Border Collie Mix). Some of their favorite time together include walks in the woods with the girls, as well as taking them to the local dog park.  They often opt for being outdoors with the dogs instead of going out to eat and to the movies. Some of their favorite times together have been picnics in the park with the girls after a long walk in the mud!  They both enjoy staying at home on the weekends (if they can) and renting movies while we playing board games and cards.  It seems as if they can both have a great time doing anything as long as they are with each other!
