Kooking with Kristin: Vanilla Vodka Injected Strawberries!

It has now become a tradition at the Kight's Kampout (our family friends') to bring vanilla-vodka-injected-white-chocolate-dipped strawberries, because they are so yummy and crowd pleasing!  They are always a hit.  Here is how I make them...

Vanilla Vodka Injected Strawberries

Ingredients:

• Strawberries
• Vanilla Vodka
• White Chocolate (you can do milk chocolate, but we found the white chocolate with the vanilla flavor was yummy)
• Wax paper
• Food injector

Preparation:

• Use the food injector to inject the strawberries with the vanilla vodka (I inject til the vodka starts seeping out the pores).
• Warm the chocolate according to directions on the packaging (we have found the Dolci Fruit brand to be the best with microwave melting).
• Dip the injected strawberries into the melted chocolate and place on wax paper and let harden.

They don't always look beautiful, but they are always yummy!!  XXOO, Kristin
